OUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME
Avalon Hair & Beauty opened as a local, family run, Salon where you can enjoy a full range of professional Hair and Beauty services. Our focus was to be “just different” while providing exceptional client care and an unforgettable experience.
Before opening our Salon, we had a challenging few years that pushed us out of our comfort zone and into the Beauty world. We soon established ourselves as a popular sought after salon, so much so that we were awarded Hair Salon of the Year in December 2014 by the Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards. We continued to work hard, grow & push on to win a further 6 industry awards between 2014 and 2017.
Established in 2013
Avalon opened its doors on the 20th of September, 2013. Originally we were offered the use of a space in local gym but quickly grew into a larger, more central, location. That's when the fun really began! As a new salon, opened by a “newly” qualified stylist, we had a mammoth climb ahead of us to not only build a business and a client base but to position ourselves in a challenging industry as a respected establishment. Thankfully we had the most amazing support system as a family who were, and still are, the core team of Avalon.

BEYOND OUR SALON
In 2017 the team ventured out of the salon and into the glitzy world of session work. Between February and September 2017 we were invited to work at London, Paris, New York and Milan Fashion Weeks along with Cannes Film Festival. It was extremely hard work but equally as rewarding and we have continued to work at a number of these events each year since.
We are extremely proud of what we have achieved so far and look forward to many more exciting and successful years to come.
